Alexa Leahy

Alexa Leahy is a Wealth Management Intern at Briarwood Financial. Currently entering her junior year at UCLA, she is pursuing a degree in Economics with a growing interest in financial planning and wealth management. Through experiences in marketing, customer service, and leadership, Alexa discovered that she enjoys using business to solve problems and create meaningful, lasting impacts in people's lives. She is excited to continue growing her knowledge while learning from the experienced advisors at Briarwood.

Before joining Briarwood, Alexa worked in hospitality and marketing, where she strengthened her communication skills, adaptability, and attention to detail. Whether assisting customers, collaborating with peers, or leading projects, she found the most rewarding part was helping others feel informed and supported while working toward a common goal.

Outside of work, Alexa enjoys figure skating, baking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Having explored seven countries, she enjoys stepping outside her comfort zone, experiencing different cultures, and making memories with the people around her. Alexa values staying curious, making meaningful connections, and embracing new opportunities.
